Frostbite Navigational Rally
Event Date: 30 Jan 2016, 12:30pm registration Driver's Meeting (no later than) 1:30pm
Event Location: Kelsey's, Milton, ON
Organizing Club: KWRC / ORRC
The Frostbite Rally will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 starting at Kelsey’s Restaurant in Milton. This is just south of Hwy 401 off Hwy 25. Map This rally is perfect for beginners in a street car with no special safety equipment!
The start, mid-rally break and finish are all at Kelsey’s. The route will run west of Milton and we would expect roads to range from bare and dry to snow covered and icy, who can tell this winter. The route is about 50% gravel.
We’ll have instructions for beginners so if you’ve never done this before we’ll try to keep your navigator sane. Beginner class does not score points in the provincial championship (ORRC) and only runs the first half of the event. If you want to run the second half using the Novice instructions we’ll let you do that but we’ll only use the first leg scores for awards.
We’ll also have instructions for the ORRC novice class and Expert/Intermediate. Dennis is the organizer so the experts can expect some challenges.
