 Team SPDA AutoX:
This year will mark the 3rd year for the existence of the Team SPDA Autox. Team Selections will be made by a panel based on the persons attitude and performance on the track. Attitude is the first criteria that’s most important in the selection process.
To be eligible for SPDA Team you must have the following qualifications: · Must be willing to share information with the team · Must have the correct attitude, enjoy first win second · Must be willing to take criticism from your peers · Must be willing to take instruction · Must be present at SPDA schools to help out in instruction · Must have been a paid member of the SPDA for the previous year and participated in at least 4 Autocrosses · Must be able to tell bad jokes · Must be able to redeem yourself by telling a semi good joke · Must be willing not to take this competition too seriously, no matter how hard that is · Must complete a minimum amount of Autocrosses in CASC-OR series to qualify for the series. (6 out of 10 events) · Must be a paid member of SPDA Toronto Chapter

Team Requirements: 11x Team SPDA Autocross Members 2 x Solo-1 Members
We’re looking forward to making a bigger statement in the CASC-OR by expanding the coverage in classifications. Selection of this year’s team will be based classifications and track record.
Responsibilities of Team SPDA Autox: · Be ambassadors of SPDA in AutoX events, not limited to the CASC Regionals · Display “Sponsors” magnetic stickers on their cars during all AutoX events · Keep a positive and professional attitude during events · Prioritize Fun over Winning · Respect the sponsors by providing “honest factual” feedback about the products being tested on your car · Be open minded when approached by SPDA sponsors to test a performance product on your car · Provide feedback to the sponsors so they can help make their products better · Provide assistance to SPDA during Driving School Events · Be friendly and offer assistance even if the person you’re assisting is not fortunate enough to drive a Subaru  · Share setup information with the rest of the team and SPDA members · Share in bringing up the skill level of your team mates and the general SPDA membership
In return the potential exposures for you are: · Learn how to acquire personal sponsors · Chance of testing new performance products · Having your entry fees subsided by the SPDA · Exposure to driving different cars at Schools · The gratification of sharing your skills with a new person · Sense of accomplishment when your student finally beats you · Most of All the companionship and the membership to a wonderful organization dedicated to helping others get better

Yes, SPDA is now part of the growing list of chartered clubs for the CASC-OR. Taking our place along side of organizations dedicated to supporting and fostering the growth of grassroots motorsports.
SPDA Provides a forum for like minded enthusiasts to share their passion with others. As part of the activities planned, are Advanced Driving Schools, and a regional event in Ottawa.
Who is the CASC?
CASC ONTARIO REGION is Ontario's governing body of automobile sport, and is comprised of over 30 automobile and sport enthusiast clubs within Ontario. The organization defines and administers the province's regional championships in several disciplines, with club-organized events in Road Racing, Road Rally, Ice Race, Solo I time trials, Solo II autoslaloms and Drifting. In addition, the majority of timers, corner marshals and safety personnel at events such as the Molson Indy are members of our clubs. Whatever your area of interest may be, we have a place for you within one of our many areas of grassroots motorsports.
SPDA welcomes the challenges and increased responsibilities involved in being associated with the governing body for motorsports in Ontairo.
