Yes, it's a long time to wait - but what better way to spend the winter than dreaming of your next track day (well, unless you're an ice racer!). This will give most of us time to get our car prepared! There will be two groups of 26 cars - 30 minutes on track/30 minutes off. $325 for the day including lunch. Drivers new to MIR must sign up for a coach - $100 extra. Drivers must apply and provide a track driving history. For more details go to:
Mosport May 22, 2009 (http://www.frankewald.com) or PM me.
Regards,
Frank

There are just 3 spots left for drivers 'new' to Mosport. 23 spots left in total.

Edit: 20 spots left - only two for new to Mosport.

What better Valentine's gift than a day at the big track!

How about a day at the hotel spa with Glen Chow's track friends (scroll down):

Why do the short, hairy guys always get to go home with the hot women ?

Maybe it's the COBRA (and yes, Ivano, I mean the car).

:-P

I just signed up for this. Can't wait. Just have to get some 'go-fast-bits' installed.

Welcome Geoff. I just sent you an email - two actually.

And I'm just going to ignore Rob's post. This is going to be a family event. My own kids are now SPDA members and probably wondering - even more than before, I might add - about their dad's friends! :-o :-o

LOL

I'm more worried about Tamblyn hating-on me for calling him short and hairy.

Thanks Frank. I hadn't put your name and your SPDA user ID together. Nice to type to you.

See you in 3 months. Now, I just have to 'fix' my brand new car so Rob stops hurling insults at it.

'Hurling insults' ???

:banghead:

I'm just being lovingly critical...

Rob, one look at the size of my turbo and she will not want anything to do with that cobra.

I was going to ask Frank if he was bringing that type of help but seeing as though his family will be there, I am going to have to bring my own.

Geoff, being lovingly ciritcal is only worth half from a guy with no car. ;-)

Ladies and Gentlemen,
There are still four openings for drivers experienced at Moport's Big Track. Are you interested?

Just talked to Robyn today. She's looking forward to joining us on the 22nd. Some of you know Robyn well as she's helped move your car when it just wouldn't go on it's own.

Motorsport Marshalling Service will be back. A lot of drivers from last year are returning.

There are just four spots - I'm hoping they won't be available much longer.

Very professional people, Frank. Thanks for continuing that service! Though I hope to NOT have a long chat in the cabin of Robin's truck again, she's a nice lady with a gentle winch.

Wow, Thanks to Steve I've finally figured out how to quote on SPDA. That was hard work and was challenging my technological capabilities.

ONE SPOT - that's all! I've got some of the best professionals coming. No other way to go.

Anyone in the area ready for tomorrow? I'm staying in Bowmanville tonight. Just pulled in. I have a coupe beer left. :)
