Hi Folks!
If you happen to be one of the lucky winners of a Talon coupon from 2008 but won't be taking advantage of a purchase, please consider donating it back to the club.
If you WOULD like to make a purchase from Talon before April 1, you can post here in need of a coupon.
Thanks!
I have a 50 dollar coupon that I'd like to donate back.

I have about $300 (maybe more) that I won't be using. If someone's willing to come get them (eithers from Stouffville or Downtown - Yonge and Bloor) they're yours....

You can use them to buy some no-season tires... that's what i did. I was just on the phone with Howard at Talontire.
Even got $40 mail in rebate from toyo... on top of the 2 coupons i used.

For those of us that sent Toyo cash earlier in the year, will we get credit to use to buy Toyo products at Talon BEFORE Apri 1st?
Just curious....
I'll contact James at Toyo to get you your refund. If it's after April 1st, I'll replace your coupons for ones that are valid after april 1st, so no worries on that.
Hope this helps.

Before asking about getting me a refund, I am curious as to what they have in mind for those that did send in a cheque. I won't need the tires right away and if you are willing to swap Talon coupons then definitely no immediate worries....
Thanks Joe.

If anyone has any extra coupons around, I could use some. I believe I'll be ordering some tires next week. I already have a $50 coupon (somewhere), and the max I can use is $125/set.
I'll be at the AGM tomorrow btw.
Thanks!

Hmm, I thought the max. was $150?

Max is $125 per set of four. I'm ordering four sets of four.
My 255/40/17 R888's are shooting up in price, so I'm going to order two sets.

If anyone has an extra $25-50 Coupon I could use one as I will likely be buying a set.
Just curious, do you just have to tell them the serial number on the coupon or do you have to mail them in?

You generally have to fax/e-mail them the coupon.
I have 1 or 2 spare $50's.
pm me your e-mail address, and I can e-mail a coupon or two

PM me your email address and I'll email the coupon over. That includes you Quentin!

Does anyone have any coupons that are worth more than $50? I have 3, but was told I could only use 2 coupons and it didn't matter what the value was.
Also I have an extra coupon (from Andrew) that I can send to anyone if they need it.

A big thanks to SPDA and Jay at Talon. I provided him with an extremely complex challenge and he was up to the task with some input from Toyo.
THANK YOU!
Extremely complex? LOL do tell, but wait 2 minutes until the popcorn is done..

Well I have the $100 Toyo coupon from CASC-OR banquet. I will have the additional $100 coupon from Toyo that they are giving those that put the down payment on the new compound. Then I have the SPDA/Talon contingency for an undisclosed amount and my $50 coupon that SPDA gave me at the Open House last year.
Since I don't actually have one to the coupons yet, Jay needed to confirm with James the coupon and any restrictions that Toyo may have on the use of said coupons.
Not to mention the fact that I called him yesterday afternoon trying to ensure I ordered tires before the price increase.
After a couple of emails, a couple of phone calls, all is well in the world and a set of tires is sitting in waiting for me!
Like I said in the last post, Thanks, eh!

Well, I decided on a set of hoosier slicks instead since they were the same price and likely much stickier.
Hopefully it's a dry season.

Tashko has a $50 coupon but I could use another $100 if someone has extra. Already placed my order just need to send the coupons in.
Who would have though 12" tires cost more than 15's or 16's.
Thanks,

Who'da thought they made 12" tires for anything other than wheelbarrows? Better verify the speed rating on those things...

If he's willing to let me, I'm more than willing to try it.
He can try driving my car too. I doesn't get much easier than an underpowered, lightweight car with huge sticky slicks.

Mike's next weight reduction is replacing the throttle pedal with a toggle button on the steering wheel. Full throttle or no throttle.
Quentin, what size did you get?
DMOD is going to be great this year!!
