Subaru Baja

What do the subaru experts here think about the subaru baja?

I kind of find their ugliness appealing and they've got to be somewhat practical. Does it share suspension and platform with the legacy? Can they be made to handle? Tow? Both?

It is a legacy underneath, so yeah.

Save yourself $$ and buy an outback from the same vintage, probably cheaper, and will depreciate less, and the rear has a canopy over it :)

I agree with Andrew get an Outback. The Baja dosnt hold any more weight (may actually be less, go figure). Outbacks that really are glorified Legacy's are great. :-)

and back seats in the baja are NEAR useless...... outback would be my pick... subbie wagons are very versatile.
