No STi rear axles, eh? Poor Trung. ;-)

Do you know what the ** stands for beside the part #'s?

Yo.. Just because I didn't list it doesn't mean it's not available.. For Trung, I'm sure they can make axles.. LOL

Hopefully they don't give him a warranty. ;-) I need them to be in business when I eventually need them.

Maybe they already have his photo in the shop on a "WARNING" poster.

Bwahahahahahah... let's order lots of stuff from them so they can subsidize the axles that Trung's going to need... LOL

You guys are funny...and those are really good prices! 198N part number, it does not specify fronts or rears! I may have to buy a set...just to have on hand just in case!

BTW, Jeff's car has DT2 coils and there is still that annoying clunking from the LR which sound a lot like the clunk from the stock STi rear struts. Any ideas?

Go buy some rust check residual spray and spray it on the pillow ball, make sure you do it a couple of times to let it seep through, and you'll be fine.

Trung,

The one listed is for Front Axles for the STI. Give Bruce a call and ask him about rear axles, I'm sure they have it.

So, you're safe (until you break one), it's different between left and right, though.

Also check the pillowball for play by lifting the rear suspension. Often, if you have the rebound set too tight in the rear, you get that clunk. Loosen up the rear only (rebound, the top adjuster) and see if that helps the noise.

Joe,

Do we know who's making these axles??

Are they made in Japan with a brand name??

The PDF shows the manufacturer name, it's managed out of the USA "Diversified Drive Shaft Solutions". From their website, it looks like it's made in China.

They are out of Georgia.
