What I have Learned at The Oval

1 It is fun
2 It is hard work
3 It's a bad thing when you don't know how to start your own race car.
4 Be care full of the steering wheel that when you take it off not to hit your nose.
5 People look at you funny when you just stay in the car between races so you are not late. LOL
6 Foam to reach the pedals is great and nice when hit from behind
7Most of all that a well built old rustang can crush a sunfire when punted in to it

4. is funny. I learned to give a test tug on wheel when mine came off once!! then I learned dont pull too hard on the test. You are right, it will hit you in the nose

Number 4 also applies to changing to a short shifter. Don't pull too hard on the stock one or it will hit you in the head.
