View Full Version : My $60 del Sol....now headed to Targa.

This is a car that was driven in to my work a couple of weeks ago to be crushed,but.........

I just couldn't.So I drove it home,painted the rims,cleaned it out,installed new front rotors/pads and.......

Have been driving it every since I licenced it,including doing a TSD rally....

The car is insane.....good on gas,runs perfect and is solid underneath.It had been rust checked and not used very much so I ended up with a nice little car.Hoping to do some rally/snow/cross with it.

Paul I will give you $300 for it ;-P Thats an awesome deal, wish we could find parts that cheap never mind cars.

Wowzers, that's a steal! and looks like it can be a fun car to boot.

So now that you have a del sol... wanna sell that land rover for $120? You can double your money!

I could never part with her.

The del Sol is a fun little agile car,with surprisingly good handling.....can't wait for some rallyX.

The PO got feed up with paying for repairs......which was caused by lack of use.....stuff keep seizing up.

WOW.This car was filty dirty,leaves/grass clippings ect,but it had healthy coatings of crown and rust check......in under all the dirt is a sound/solid little 1995 Honda.I've put just over 2000KM's on this car now......it runs perfect.....and is sooooo cheap on gas.

Anyway,it would not have been my first choice for a Rally car,but in light of the price and condition.......its headed for Targa.

Yip....over the next little while I'll slowly build it up for Targa,rallyX and Solo2.Nothing fancy and no rush.....take my time and turn it into a track/race car.....fun/cheap/reliable.

Wish me luck....LOL.
