2010 sounds like it's a long way off, but it'll be here before some of us have our cars prepared and ready for the track. And what better way to spend the winter than dreaming of your next track day (well, unless you're an ice racer!). There will be three groups with about 22 cars each - 20 minutes on track/40 minutes off. $325 for the full day includes lunch. Drivers new to MIR must sign up for a coach - $100 extra. Drivers must apply and provide a track driving history. For more details go to:
Mosport May 28, 2009 (http://www.frankewald.com/mir) or PM me.
Regards,
Frank

Believe it or not, it's only 139 days away. There are still novice spots available (novice=lapping day experience but new to the big track). Coaches include a few well known SPDA members. It's time to start planning your spring lapping.

Dave Anton from Rallispec is returning this year.

He told me that he's dying to 'go for a spin' in your
car, Frank...

I told him that there is an excellent chance that this will
happen, especially since your car isn't a Subaru.

He didn't understand - what do you mean, NOT a Subaru ?

I told him that I was planning an intervention for you...

Thank you for your interest. There will be a number of SPDA members present.

I'm bringing the Legacy and a camera to take photos of y'all. I will not bring the STi, so I won't be tempted to pick up the spot of a last minute drop out. :-)

What's the rule for convertibles? They do not need a cage or bar?

Frank hosts a private day and secures his insurance separately from the club, so along with Jones Brown Motorsport Insurance, he makes his own agreement.

SoloSprint rules require convertibles to have rollbars at events (but not schools.)

ASN Lappinig rules allow a club to make the decision on a roll bar for a convertible.
