Hey all,

Narrowed my search for wheels down to three,

Kosei K-1 (17x8.5)
Apex ARC-8 (17X9)
D-Force LTW-5 (17X9)

Do you have a preferred place that you like to shop for wheels? Looking for suggestions.

Thanks!

Contact our buddies at JRP to see what they carry. For us, they do price matching in most cases. Speak with Jeff Brown.

Thanks

JRP contact information or web address?

Edit - never mind, found it.

You're going to have high power to weight ratio. Most performance tires, you want them sitting on the widest rims they'll accomodate. So I'd be thinking 17" x 11" for 275 to 295 rubber and using fender flares, for the rear at least.

17X11???!!!

you fronting the bill for tires :-)

I figured 17X9 with a 255, that's about max before I have to roll the fenders.

You're forgetting the hidden cost of doing it right a year later. 255 front on 17 x 10, 275 rear on 17 x 11. You have the ability to go to 275 / 295 without buying new rims.

Unless you're planning on converting it to AWD.

All too true - but I've got lots of bits to purchase, so I'm trying to keep some of the costs in the "please Deb, don't kill me" category.

The hunt continues - I will search out options at JRP and see what they have - as well as what a 275 or even 295 tire costs. :-)

What bolt pattern and offset range are you looking for? Also what size and type of tire?

I know of a wheel and tire shop that has closed down. There is still a reasonable amount of stock left and the prices are really good. The selection is hit and miss, but if you hit, the deals are good.

Hmmm - that could be interesting,

the bolt pattern is 5X120, size 17X9 (or 10), offset should be 40 or 41.

Let me know if there's anything there.

Tires are not a must right now.
