Doing some work for a friend who lost his transmission. In need a 4.11 trans in good shape at a resonable price.

also need:
deal on clutch kit
flywheel

Don't know if he sold the tranny yet but he's parting that car.

i have one... but was keeping as a spare.... if you can't find let me know..i paid $250 for it... i bought it off Corb (another NCSC member) who he got it from a Montreal guy after he swapped out his RS. probably 140-150k kms.... but that's an estimate.

axle seals should be changed.

thanks, i talked to that guy who was parting out his rs, he was talking crazy...like 1500 for the trans and and clutch pack lol. Thanks robin!....i found one in toronto and i have to make a trip here this weekend anyways, if it falls through, you'll be hearing from me.

$1500! that's just insane.... the 4.11 isn't really in demand.... i know Mattwrx got a great deal for his 02TS wagon for a n/a 3.90 5spd. it wasn't even anywhere near that price.... but more like $700-800 with axles/rear diff and 24k kms.....

4.11's are surely getting harder to find.... but not in crazy demand either.
