Someone I know owns an older model Legacy (would be the same generation as JoeT's). She ordered some rotors, but when she went to have them installed, her mechanic said they were the wrong size. She's given them to me, and am trying to figure out if they can be of use to me or anyone else on the board.
The boxes have the following model numbers:
Wearever YH145207
AIMCO 31247
BENDIX 145207
NAPA 86658
Raybestos 96658
According to Napa Online, the rotors should fit the WRX and other Subaru modes and are one of their Ultra Premium Rotors with the onyx protected hat (http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Detail.aspx?A=UBP86658_0183441213&An=599001+102005+50068+2068006) , but they look more like their Premium Rotors without the onyx protected hat (http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Detail.aspx?A=NB_4886658_0176819592&An=599001+102005+50068+2068006), so I'm not sure what they are.
Also I googled whe Weaver part # and found a thread on NASIOC, saying that they're only 11" in diameter, and that the WRX front rotor is 11.4", so I measured the rotors, and sure enough they're a little under 11". Are white box rotors usually the same diameter as stock? Are these of any use to anyone here?
