For 2010, Toyo stepped up it's support for amateur motorsports by extending the discount structure from the motorsports program to include the Toyo R1R. With the addition of Street Tire Classes in both Solosprint, Autoslalom and the ATTS (ATTS-Online.ca) you can now run the most high tech and durable street tire in competition.

The R1R has proven itself over an over in Gymkhana competitions across the pacific, known as the Toyo Trampio R1R overseas, this mature carcass mated to a formidable rubber compound provides excellent response and grip that is unmatched.

For 2010
- Toyo continues with their motorsports program with SPDA giving all members of SPDA and Competitors in the ATTS 40% discount on the R888's
- Pending final details, the R1R is going through a price reduction, in addition to the price reduction, Toyo will provide to Motorsports Program members an additional "Factory Direct" rebate.

Toyo Contingency Program for ATTS: (http://www.ATTS-Online.ca)
Over $4800.00 to be distributed to competitors of the ATTS.

These additional prizes are available to competitors running "Canadian" Toyo Tires. (Identified by a Toyo Canada Stamp)

SPDA for 2010:
To aid in the release of the R1R and support the "Bringing Racing to Racers" campaign, the Talon Tire Coupons will also be provided to the tune of $100.00 / competitor if you sign up for the ATTS or the CASC-OR series (While Supplies Last). Details to follow shortly.

STAY TUNED for Further Details... 2010 Motorsports Season is going to be awesome!!

I don't quite understand the contingency. It says $300 for first. Is that first in each class or is there some sort of pax system between the classes to determine who gets the contingency?

Mike,

That has been brought up, and I have a question out to Toyo to clarify. Please stand by.

Thanks

I'd like to know 40% off what. Can't find an MSRP sheet for the R1R like for the R888.

The MSRP's are all in the members forum along with the campaign details. It's the same as what's posted in the MCO forums. The difference is the additional dollars that we (SPDA) are giving the members.

Joe, is the availability of tire size the same as those posted on MCO? I need 245/45/16. Doesn't seem like they exist! :(

Correct, the R1R's done come in the 245-45-16's for some reason... The size chart is in the members section which you have access to.
