View Full Version : Aluminum jack recommendation needed

My 2-ton steel Michelin jack is no longer in service. Recommendations for a reasonably-priced replacement? I saw a nice sale price for one at Princess Auto, but it is only a 1½-ton model.

PA's search engine is odd - type "aluminum floor jack" and the first several returned items are audio and welding cables.

Thanks in advance.

it comes on sale to the tune of 160ish I think every now and then.

Yep +2 for the princess auto model. Ivano and I picked up a pair 5+ years ago and never had issues with LOTS of usage.

Nuwan is right, the jack we bought have been professional abused and so far are fine. Rob suggestion is good, take the bolts out one at a time and add thread lock as some do come loose over time.

Yap, that yellow PA one is good. I used it and abuse it for well over 5 years. I just need to add oil or change it... It's getting slow a bit.
