So if you have cardboard around the house from all those boxes of parts you put on your car, you can come have some fun.

Sunday Aug 8th is the day to be in Orillia for the cardboard boat race.

If you are interested in building a boat, helping out or have some really great cardboard you can bring me let me know.
If we go big we might need a trailer to get it there.

If you have a working camera and are in the area we will need someone to film the event.
I am all so looking for suggestions as to what design to use.
PS If you have some life jackets I could use for the weekend that would be great.

I have the cardboard from a screen door at my house, you could grab it at the open house, if you wanted.

Hmmm. You need a cardboard gaylord. (Big triple wall cardboard box used to hold preforms.) If you know of a blowmolding plant near you, go ask about getting a damaged one... See if you can plug the "ends" of it with spray foam, then put some waterproof paint on the sides, and PRESTO! That sucker ain't going to sink.

Hmm, I can ask and maybe get you some nice industrial waterproofing. And maybe even some 2 or 4 inch styrofoam, put 4 inches glued to the bottom and it shouldnt sink unless you put Caveman in it. :-P There is also a very good chance of being able to get a lot of cardboard but that wont be for a few months. I will ask around and get back to you.

I have to work on Sunday and don't know if Rob is going to the opern house. He won't be going if he don't get me a Birthday Cake, he's only a week late with it.

I have a very heavy duty box from a Weber BBQ and it includes 2 inch sandwiched sheets inside as well. You could probably tape the seams and jump right in.

Do you want it?

Build him a floating toilet bowl. That should be pretty funny.
