SPDA Announces the CAC2010 Tow Fund

This offer limited to the first 10 posters who are Full Members in this forum!

This year Toyo Tires is the title sponsor for the 2010 CAC hosted in La Belle Province Quebec, just north of Montreal in beautiful St. Eustache.

Held on the iconic Autodrome St. Eustache, this venue provides a nice mix of technical and speed elements to reward all drivers.

This tow fund is designed to stimulate particpation from SPDA members to attend the CAC2010, and to increase the registration of Toyo Tires participants. This fund is used to help offset the cost of particiation in the CAC2010.

Club Funding:
If you plan to attend the CAC2010 and are a full SPDA member, provide proof of registration and receieve a rebate of $25.00 directly from this club.

Toyo Funding
Present proof that you'll be running Toyo Tires and claim another $25.00
Toyo Funding, applies to all Full Members running on Toyo Tires.

Note: Your registration on the CAC2010.org site must show that you're using Toyo Tires, and your registration must show SPDA as your club.

I have registered a month ago, but there is no access to edit the registration or copy proof to here.
Further, if I remember corectly, there was nowhere to enter which Club you belong, only if you are ASN affiliated or SCCA or whatever ..

Joe, you are registered on the CAC2010 forum and see who is on the Enrty list with the details, is this good enough to lay claim for towing? also, I live about an hour west of Ottawa, would this qualify?

About tires, I registered with Hoosier, but if it is wet, I will run TOYO ... so if its raining, can I claim the Toyo Funding? ... I also have big TOYO stickers ;-)

Hi Klaus,

There will be a Toyo Challenge at the CAC and it's yet to be announced. Cars running the Toyo Tires are the ones that are eligable for the Toyo Challenge. We just want to support our and their sponsor by putting in a decent showing.

I believe the street tire classes are the place to be and that's what I'm going to compete in. BTW, if you ran your R1R's in the newly created street tire class "STE" we'll be in the same class. Which means you can parade your trophy in front of my envious face when you win it.

To answer your question, yes the Registration on the site is good enough for the "club" funds, but you'll need to run Toyo's in the competition to qualify for the Toyo funding since the points are cumulative.

Hope this helps.

Yes, please post your results on the site and I'll verify with the organizer regarding the club you registered under.

Further instructions to follow. Preferred payments will be through paypal, since it's easier than sending out a cheque.

Thanks all.

Looks like a guy named "STEVE" was driving his car, but the front window was down and you couldn't see the rest of the name.
