Hello All

As some of you may know SPDA has been in the lead of the Club championship since the beginning of the season and has maintained it till after event 6. This is a first for SPDA and I would like to see us take the championship after event 7 & 8. I would like to see as much SPDA members come out as possible The event will take place on September 11th & 12th at Shannonville Motorsports Park. We will be running Fabi on the Saturday and Full Track on the Sunday.

Hope to see you all there.

Count me in. I've sent confirmation to solosprint, just waiting for payment information. Will probably need a coach.

Wow, I was just having a look at the top 10!

http://www.soloontario.com/events/2010/2010_overall.html

Paul has a solid lead in 1st.
Chris P is going to have to be magic to catch him, but he's a solid 2nd.
Jon Weir in third, but he's catchable by KATIE, Andy P, ALEXANDER M, and Andrew VDP.

Salmaan's in the top 10, Frank is just outside it in 11th... Ujjwal, Serge, and Lloyd in the top 20. This is a very well rounded year for SPDA!

Ujjwal and Lloyd are leading the novice championship, with Crispin, Ricardo, Gian-Paolo in the top 10.

This is a very well-rounded year for the club! Keep it up, folks!

I don't think I can make it out next weekend, but I had a question about SoloSprint classification.

In general, how many pips does it take to bump into the next class?

For example, say I was in a car with a starting class of GT1 (Let's assume it's a GD Impreza, but NOT my current car)

If mods added up to 20 PIPs, how much further up would the car go in classification?

I was going to run it through CCDB but the site is down.

Each class is 5 PIPs apart.

However, the PIPs are not assigned directly. That is, 5 PIPs of mods may be more or less than 5 PIPs when applied to a particular car.

The regulations explain it in more detail.
http://casc.on.ca/uploadedFiles/2010_SoloSprint_Rules100207161600.pdf

And also once you reach a certain PIP level, the rest are free.

Paul,

When I took the school I chose event #8 as my free event, but can I change it to event#7 instead? Yes, because of rain on Sunday! I can only make one so I would rather it be dry for my first time at Shannonville.

Thanks,

Trung

Hey Guys

Looking at the pre registered list it seems like alot of HADA members are coming out. I really want us to win the Club championship this year so if you can make it out that would help us out.

See you all this weekend.

SPDA warmly welcomed me a few years back - even though I did not own a Subaru. The club has continued to impress me and, in turn, I'm pleased to be able to support and welcome others new to the sport.
That coupled with great product discounts is why SPDA won the championship. Well done.

PS
Joe, look for the next set of pics. The spda-online logo is on the rear 1/4 window.
