Road Trip

OK so I'm planing on going on a road trip at Christmas.
to the tune of 2000k each way

my question is what parts are the most common faults for the SVX, other than transmissions.

What should i take as spares, I don't like to pay others to do what i can do and i also don't like the idea of having it towed if it brakes :)

That's just a short trip, I'll be doing about 6K at x-mas too.

Highway is gentle on cars, I'd suggest oil and tranny fluid, in case.
