I will be parting out my 1998 Forester S this weekend. Black over metallic charcoal lower trim on gray fabric interior. Most body panels are in decent shape including fenders and all doors. All glass is good. Rear wiper motor is shot, as well as the struts. Airbags good, have OEM cross bars for roof rails. Tails lights are great, front headlights have good lenses but some broken mounts, corner lamps are shot.
Auto trans works but has torque bind, 2.5 Phase 1 DOHC motor sounds like a tractor, and has slight oil consumption. Headgaskets were done 30,000kms ago along with timing belt and tensioner. Car still runs and drives at the moment.
Wheels, axles, rear diff and dash upper are spoken for. Everything else is up for grabs.
If anyone needs little bits, hardware and fasteners swing by and pull what you want. Everything is either super cheap (and payable in beer) or free.
