Car & Driver Best Handling Car under 40 $k

The Mazda MX-5 Miata came up 2nd next to the Evo MR. Ranking:

1. Lancer Evo MR
2. MX-5 Miata
3. Ford Mustang GT
4. Nissan 370Z
5. Mini John Cooper Works, and
6. VW GTI

Apparently there were no 2012 BMWs available that met the criteria, and no mention of an STi anywhere.

I have driven every car on that list except for the 370Z and agree 100%. There's a reason I own #2.

No surprise on BMW not hitting the list - not much to choose from under 40K. I was surprised to see the Mustang though.

I guess they mean $US 'cuz last time I checked, the Evo MR is still over $50k in Canada. :lol:
