Hi Folks!
We want to ask your help with the execution of the No Winter Maintenance Rally on October 1st 2011.
The rally needs checkpoint workers who park their car on a road that the competitors are supposed to be on and issue a sticker to that competitor that records the time at which they arrived there. It's really that simple! We always put new folks together to work as a team so there's no "I've never done this before!" worries.
We'll need you out there in Flesherton by 10am to give you a brief training chat on how to run a checkpoint. You'll be wrapped up by 5pm LATEST. If you have to leave earlier than that, or have to arrive a bit later, please let us know and we'll arrange for you to work only one leg of the rally.
We help you out with a bit of gas money from the profits of the rally. More importantly though, you have our most sincere thanks for helping at the event and introducing new people to this sport!
We'll want about eight to ten checkpoint cars, and twice as many workers, so if you want a ride up with someone, post where you'll be leaving from and we'll try to arrange a carpool.
Thanks for your time!
