Been playing around with the "rivals" thing.

That's a bit fun actually, didn't expect it to be.

Basically means the game sets a challange like fastest lap at Motegi in an A600 car, looks at your friends list and and shows their times relative to yours. Go chasing. Pretty neat.

Nice to play against real human beings with jobs and lives as opposed to the 15 year olds that spend 12 hours a day playing Forza who inhabit the pointy end of the leaderboards.

Anyone want to chase down my lap in an '08 STi on the Jap A600 car at Motegi rivals challenge? :)

Look up GT Academy on Facebook. They are currently running an international Time Trial Challenge at the demanding Eifel Circuit in Paris, I believe.

It was with previous Time Trial Challenges like this that they selected the top indivdual to become a professional racing car driver. Their first pick came 2nd in the LMP2 class at Le manns this year and toook the ILMC series title.
