Think this rear-driver will be faster than an STi on the track, with the same engine?

The S2000 comparison is a great one. However, despite what Joe says, even with 240 Hp and the BRZ's target weight, a stock S2000 can't keep up to a stock STi at the track.

I beg to differ,, Stock for stock, an S2000 can keep up to an STI on any track. Don't discount light weight and stiff chassis.. and on a tight track, S2000 is faster in many cases.. Stock for stock!!

I agree with Joe, a stock S2000 has vastly superior handing and braking capabilities compared to a stock STI. I highly recommend driving an S2000 when you get a chance, the handling and driving feel is orgasmic second only to driving a Lotus.
