I've wanted to do an OTA School for some time, so this year's it.

It's at CTMP MIR (Mosport GP track) on Aug 17th. Who else's in?

I'd like to do this school too, especially if it is on the big track. I was going to do the Ian Law school, but this looks great.

I regret to say that this may be OTA's last year at MIR. The track management isn't giving the Grassroots much opportunity at weekends anymore, and what we get is impossible without weekend sponsorship.

If you're on the fence, get off it and register. Could be your last chance with us.

Do I need to attend this school to sign up for a time attack event? I'm the new guy.

You don't have to, but it's suggested. If you haven't been signed off at a school then you have to have an instructor in your car for the morning practice sessions. If they won't sign you off by the afternoon rounds you don't get to compete.

Steve, do you know if the $50 credit from the first school can be used for the second school, or just a competition event?

The poster in your thread says August 2013 - at the OTA site the poster says July 5, 2014........so it's July?

Jonas, the original post of this thread was back in May of 2013.

The OTA school at CTMP is July 5 this year (2014), correct

I wish I was going to be in the province for the big track school this year :( Can't really complain too much though, since I'll be on a mountain coaching a ski race camp in July.
