Differential Rebuild time - HELP

Hey SPDA,

I purchased a diff last year through DiffsOnline.com, service was good, but this past week at the track we sort of blew it up.

I can still counter rotate the wheels, so I think the ring and pinion have had a rather nasty divorce of some kind.

Does anyone know a Canadian (Ontario) shop that can re-build BMW differentials?

I don't know about diffs, but he rebuilt my transmission after it started acting up. *He's an old german guy, and apparently the only guy not afraid to open a tranny - so a diff should be easy!

That's who Techmax uses. *If he won't do it, I can check with Techmax - or just send your guy there.

Thanks Steve and Joe. Hoping to have the diff removed tomorrow night, will pull the pumpkin apart and see what fought with what. DiffsOnline is where I purchased it, and depending on the damage it may be covered under warranty.
