Getting my Invidia cat-less turbo up-pipe installed by Touge Tuning on Jun 25th, partly to protect the turbo.

It turns out that I won 2 hours of shop credit in their GT5 tournament during their Mother's Day social event, and that credit is perfect for installing the turbo up-pipe.

This is the final item on my initial list of improvements to make my blue '04 WRX track-ready, and I'm happy about it!

Also planning to shake this gear down at CTMP MIR at Wakefield Castrol's invitation track day for customers, on Jun 15th. Woo hoo!

Cool! Who says it never pays to play video games? Wrap it before install. Coating as well if you can afford it. Insist on outside coating only pre-turbo. Highest temp resistance Rob offers.

Here's what I'm hoping the turbo up-pipe wrapping will look like when it's finished :

It should be a bit tighter than that, since the manifold is off, it's easy to put tension on the wrap. Use the "titanium DEI" wrap if you can, it lasts a lot longer than the regular DEI wrap and you don't have to spray coat it.
