I'm currently looking for some winter wheels for a 2013 STi Sedan. I called subaru and they said I could get 225 50 R17 to fit on a 7.5 rim (trying to go narrow). I'm not sure if the RIM i'm looking at would fit the car and/or the tire. I really would like to go for 16 inch winters but I haven't been able to find anything that would fit over the brakes.

Would anyone know if the following would work?

Anzio Vision (tirerack)
Size: 17x7.5
Offset: 46mm
Backspacing: 6.023"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size: 235/45-17
Weight: 22.05lbs.
Finish: Matte Graphite Silver
Construction: 1pc. Low Pressure Cast

That will fit just fine. I personally use XXR522's for my winter wheels on the STI, it's 17X9 and I'm using 225-50-17 on them. Sportech performance imports these in to Canada and they are cheap.
