Got a couple of my day 2 runs on video. 3rd lap was cleanest and probably fastest but forgot to turn on my gopro! :(

Any critique would be appreciated. I got a few things out of it but I'm curious to see what others think

Some general feedback, and take it with a grain of salt because situations are always different... Try to be looking far enough ahead that you can turn in and hold a constant steering input through to the apex of a corner, and then unwind as you're adding power. Feeding in more steering at or after the apex will slow you down as it unbalances the car. You might have to enter a tiny bit slower, but your exit speed should be enough faster that it evens out. One smooth input will keep the car more settled than multiple corrections. Your second run was smoother, which is good! On tighter turns, you can leave one hand on the wheel locked at 10 or 3 so you still have a reference to where neutral is. If you're turning left keep your right thumb locked at 3 even as you let go of the wheel with your right hand. Really hard to describe what I mean, simple once you see it in person.

Another general suggestion I find works great, put the gopro in spot metering mode with a narrower field of view, you'll get a better balance of light between in car and the road/track/course outside. This is medium FOV and spot metering, on a super bright day:

Thanks for the feedback. I can understand things in theory but the challenge for me is internalizing all these things and putting them all into practice. For that, I'm hoping the May 23 track event will be more helpful in terms of being able to review & retry. Not to say that the driving clinic was anything but excellent but I wish I got more than 3 runs!
Appreciate the go pro tip. You can barely see the cones in my video so it's less dramatic when my car suddenly starts oversteering 10 seconds into the run haha

Things happen really fast in autoslalom, it definitely takes a lot of runs to get the hang of things. You can see progress between your runs, which is a great thing. It means you're getting better at applying the theory!
