Hello Rally Enthusiasts,
The 2015 edition of the Black Rally is two months away. This year Black Bear will be held on Saturday July11th and Sunday July 12th. Rally headquarters will againbe at the community centre in Gilmour.
For this year will again be having Registration and Recce on Saturdayand the rally stages will be raced on Sunday. Saturday we will also be runningour first Rallysprint event on Qwirk Road . We will need some volunteers onSaturday to help with the rallysprint, recce and registration plus more workerson Sunday to run the stages. A barbecue for volunteers and competitors will beheld on Saturday night and camping space is available at the community centre.If camping out is not your style there is plenty of accommodation available inthe area.
We are currently assigning roles and hope to fill positions, as quicklyas possible with people such as yourself. Black Bear is a multi roadrally, in order to successfully run the event again, we need:
· amateur radio operators,
· timing marshals,
· traffic control marshals and
· crowd control marshals
· we also need some helpon Saturday the 11th to help with taping, signage, arrowingand recce.
This rally has beenvery lucky in attracting dedicated volunteers, without whom the Black Bear Rally couldnever have been a success year after year. We couldn't do itwithout you!
