Installed COBB's EBCS 3-port boost controller, along with a Stage2+EBCS 91 v310 engine tune. See link below:

The Subaru factory boost controller has a 2-port operation, and is less reliable at higher boost levels. I was not achieving rated boost on a Stage 2 tune, which is 16.5 psi, +/- 1 psi, and I didn't like that. It just wasn't right. Ha ha.
The 3-port boost controllers are more precise, and I chose the COBB item so I could continue to use their OTS maps. There's a picture of the Subaru OEM boost controller, and the others are of the COBB 3-port installed in my '04 WRX.
Off to test it out and run a datalog to make sure we're finally getting rated boost on a Stage 2 tune! :)
