To be fair, most automatic transmission replacements at a dealership are in the $8k+ range. It's not nearly obscene as a Mitsubishi DCT replacement, those are in the $25k range through a dealer.

Most organizations specify Snell M or SA, but I think that's simply because karting helmets will be way less common. From what I can see online, K helmets are fine for lapping.
