Good reviews yes, but failures might be expensive - past warranty - on a complex and specialize component like the CVT.

This might explain why I lost both WRX engines to spun rod bearings at Mosport's GP track and I had no issue with my '09 STi there. I ran the STi many more times at the GP track there than the WRX....

Anyone have a spare steering rack they want to part with for a nominal amount or get out of their garage.

I want to try rebuilding one.

Did you end up finding a repl motor nitro?

I bought the rack seal kit from Subaru and will rebuild it instead of just changing the steering shaft seal, if it's a DIY job.

I had others do the last rack rebuild I did.

This is definitely deja vu for me because I had the same thing happen on my '09 STi, but I now have a slight leak from the steering shaft seal on this steering rack.

Found out why the air conditioning is not working. Larger intercooler of the EJ207 has been rubbing against the aluminum a/c firewall hardline and wore a hole in it. Circled in red in the picture....
