    Pub night

STeveD Edited this first post, so the proper information is at the top of the thread:

We meet on the third Wednesday of every month to chat about automotive stuff and yap with fellow entusiasts at:

    Dub Linn Gate Irish Pub
50 Interchange Way, Vaughan, ON L4K 5C3, Canada
    +1 905-738-5646

(near Hwy 7 just east of Hwy 400)
    http://g.co/maps/dyku7

People usually arrive there around 6:30pm

KWRC and OTA meetings are 2nd Thursday of the month. HADA socials are usually Tuesday nights I think. Should we aim for third Wednesday of the month? Does that conflict with your yoga classes, Barry?

    Re: Pub night

I'd be in for a Tuesday or Wednesday. While I like downtown, it would take me hours to get down there on a weeknight.

    Re: Pub night

    So far we have:
    1x Innisfil
    2x Schomberg
    1x Toronto
    1x Vaughn
    1x Moncton
    1x Georgetown

Maybe the Schomberg Pub is the best place! :muaha:

Would someplace around 400/407, Woodbridge, Vaughn, Concord area work for people?
    3rd Wednesday, the 18th?

Sorry Rob, while I'd love be closer to Moncton...

Both January 18th and the 400/407 area work for me.

    Re: Pub night

400/407 sounds like a good compromise area. Any tasteful/tasteless pubs in that area?

    Re: Pub night

Let's try the Earls place first time out and see how it is.

Jan. 18th. 8ish (show-up when you want really)
    Earl's Kitchen and Bar
    40 Colossus Drive
    Woodbridge, ON L4L 0B7

I'll probably go early (7-7:30), since I don't have kidlettes to deal with, and check out Earl's and Dub Linn gate to see how they compare noise-wise. It would be nice not to have to shout at each other. I must be getting old!

I've been to Earls in Square One, and it was pretty good. It's pretty loud, but it could just be that location.

I should be able to make it out for this one.

    Re: Pub night

I'll be there closer to 6:30-7. I work until 5:30 and it shouldn't take me long to get there since I am going against traffic.

    Re: Pub night

The Dublin gate is pretty quiet on Wednesdays. At least any time I've been. In fact the whole complex seems pretty quiet whenever I've been. Not many folks wandering around.

Earls is a little loud but the last time I was there the view and wait staff were excellent.
