Thread: Catted and Divorced Downpipe Options for an '04 WRX (EJ205)

  1. #21
Here are the first sounds from the new Q300 exhaust. It's a quiet performance exhaust, and I can't wait to drive it!

I'm going to run COBB's Stage2 91 octane v310 map for now. If I make any further power upgrades I'll then get a protune.

    Thanks Caveman!

Had my first drives in it today. It sounds amazing and the new power transforms the drive.

The sound is not unpleasant, but it's noticeable you can feel the sound in the seat of your pants as you drive. I love it!

Here's a shot of the Invidia downpipe to turbo flange showing the excellent finishing of the thermal wrap.

Looks good, Laszlo! Just needs a tuning bung on top of the downpipe for when you do your Protune!

With how thick the aluminum collector is you could likely just drill and tap it for the test probe. Then bolt it shut after.

I have two on mine. One for the AEM AFR sensor and one for the tuner's expensive wideband sensor. EGT sensor is upstream of the turbo.
