    COBB Tuning AccessPORT V3 - 2004-2005 Subaru WRX is INBOUND!

    I’m getting an engine tuning device for my WRX this week, which means more POWER on 91 Octane juice! +15% more Hp and +20% more TQ

    Stage 1, here we come!

    What ECU 'guages' are most helpful to monitor while driving, and which ones should I datalog to confirm the operating health of my little quad-cam turbo?



    COBB suggests the following for datalogging; 1. A/F Learning 1, 2. DAM, 3. Boost, 4. Fine Knock Learning, and 5. Feedback Knock Correction.

    Data Logging for daily driving and occasional hard use:
    EGT:
    Coolant Temp:
    Throttle Position:
    Knock:
    Oil Temp:
    Load:
    Throttle Position:
    Boost:

    To keep an eye on on the track:
    Oil Temp
    EGT
    Coolant Temp
    Knock

    It looks like I'm getting close to max boost with the new tune in this acceleration run - my first datalog.

    Tune Specs
    Stage1 91 v310: Boost Targets: ~14.5psi peak boost pressure tapering down to ~12.0psi by the 7250RPM redline, +/- 1.0 psi





    And at least for the typical Stage 1 spec, my little quad-cam turbo is making 255 Hp & Tq at the crank with 91 octane:
