    Question Low Mileage 03 WRX...

    I am no mechanic.. but anyways, going to look at an 03 WRX on Sunday, with a touch over 100,000kms.. anything obvious I should be looking for? WHat questions should I be asking?
    Figuring..
    Has clutch,turbo,rad,timing belt, water pump ever been replaced?

    Look under the hood to see if there's obvious replacement of components. The turbo's have a heat shield over the turbo making it hard to see the actuator. Check to see if the heatshield is in there.

    Check to see if the downpipe has been replaced.

    Look for non rusted bolts holding the turbo on

    Look in the radiator overflow to see if there is a black sooty type of stuff floating or stuck to the sides of the overflow tank

    Look under the front fender to see if the plastic fender liner has been rubbed by the tire, or has holes in it.
